Where Do We Deliver?

We offer nationwide fireworks delivery, subject to delivery coverage for your address. Enter your postcode when ordering to check we deliver to your area and calculate the charge.

If you’re unsure still whether delivery is available where you live, contact us with your postcode before placing your order.

When Will My Fireworks Arrive?

Your order will usually be delivered within 3–5 days. Please leave enough time before your event, particularly during busy periods like Bonfire Night, Chinese New Year, Diwali, and New Year’s Eve. A local courier will call to arrange a convenient delivery time. Deliveries take place seven days a week, between 9am and 5pm.

When to Order for Seasonal Celebrations

Because Halloween, Bonfire Night, Diwali, New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year are busy periods, not just for us but for couriers (especially specialist hazardous goods couriers like ours), we recommend ordering at least 7–10 days before your celebration. This allows extra time around our usual 3–5-day delivery estimate.

Diwali and Chinese New Year fall on different dates each year, so check the date of your celebration before ordering and work back 7–10 days. For New Year’s Eve, contact us early to check delivery arrangements over Christmas.

These are recommended ordering times, not guaranteed delivery deadlines.

Receiving and Checking Your Order

Please arrange for someone aged 18 or over to receive and sign for your delivery. Failed deliveries incur extra charges, so contact us if you need to discuss your arrangements.

We double-check orders before they leave the shop. When yours arrives:

  • Check all packages and note any visible damage or shortages on the delivery note before signing.

  • Please report damage within 24 hours by calling 0161 881 3990.

  • Please report missing items in writing within five days of receiving your order. Include your order number and details of what is missing.

Check your order promptly rather than waiting. These reporting requests help us investigate quickly and do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment, Prices and Product Availability

Full payment is required before we dispatch your order. All listed prices include VAT at 20%. Prices may change over time, so double-check the total before completing your purchase.

We aim to fulfil every order in full. Rarely, during peak periods, an item may sell out before its availability is updated on the website.

If this happens, we’ll call you to discuss a replacement of the same or greater value before adding a different firework to your order.

Age Requirements and Larger Orders

Purchasing Fireworks

Our policy is that fireworks purchasers must be 18 or over. An adult aged 18 or over must also receive and sign for delivery. Use fireworks responsibly and follow the instructions supplied. Do not set off or throw fireworks in streets or other public places. Find out about firework safety.

Orders Over 50kg Net Explosive Content

For orders containing more than 50kg net explosive content, additional record-keeping requirements apply. This refers to the explosive content, not the total packaged weight.

We’ll request the information needed for the supply records in this case, including your name and address, and record the supply date. If you intend to supply the fireworks onwards, tell us when ordering so we can discuss any further requirements. We cannot complete the supply without the required information. Please ensure the details you provide are accurate.

Cancelling Your Order

If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing as soon as possible and include your name and order number.

For eligible online consumer purchases, you can tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, even if they are not faulty. You then normally have a further 14 days to return them.

Fireworks require specialist transport, so contact us promptly to arrange a suitable return. Do not send them through ordinary post.

Email info@chorltonfireworks.com, or fill in our contact form.

Cancellation Refunds and Collection Costs

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, your refund includes the standard outbound delivery charge. Any additional amount paid for a premium delivery service is normally not refundable.

You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning an unwanted order where this was disclosed before purchase. Any deduction will be made only where permitted by law. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Faulty or Damaged Fireworks

If a product arrives damaged or appears faulty, contact us with your order number and a description of the problem. We’ll explain the next steps and arrange any necessary investigation.

We may need the product returned for inspection, unless we advise otherwise. Please contact us before moving or returning a faulty firework so we can provide appropriate instructions. Where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we’ll provide the remedy defined by your statutory rights. Necessary return costs for faulty goods will be covered by us.

Always follow the written instructions supplied with each product. Damage caused by misuse is different from a manufacturing fault, and we may need to establish what happened when assessing a claim.

Specialist Returns and Collections

Fireworks are hazardous goods and require specialist carriers for delivery and returns. Once we have received your cancellation or return request, we’ll explain how and when collection can take place, along with any charges that apply. Please do not arrange an ordinary postal return yourself.

Delays and Events Outside Our Control

Severe weather, fire, flooding, strikes, government restrictions, accidents and supplier or courier disruption can affect delivery arrangements. If your order is affected, contact us to discuss the next steps. Any limits on liability are subject to applicable law and do not exclude your statutory rights.
